Sweet Rosie O'Grady

In flipping through all my pictures of you, I found a common theme amongst most. You were always holding, helping, or hugging someone. I thought to myself how true that was of your God-given nature. You are such a HUGE help. I cannot believe how reliable you are at such a young age.
You have been sweet since your very beginnings in the womb. I remember writing on your ultrasound picture "Sweet Baby Boever #3" and how true it has been.
What touches my heart the most about you is your gentleness and sensitivity. I was telling a story the other night about a certain child who had lost their parent. You just burst into tears and kept saying, "I don't want you to ever die, Mama." I tuck everyone in every night, but you always come back one more time to have me tuck you in after you have read your books for the night. At first, I remember being bothered by it because I had already put everyone in bed, but then I quickly remembered the thousands of ways you help me through the day, your cheerfulness, and non-needy personality and thought "for heaven's sake, she asks nothing of you, EVER. Just go and tuck her in. It means a lot to her." So I do. You squeeze me so tight.
Your concentration and dedication to your school work is inspiring. You are in all good sense of the word "the teacher's pet." You do your work, learn it well, and do it to perfection. You are obedient, quiet, and always appropriate. I am so glad you are in our family. Thank you for being so sweet and gentle. I love watching you with little kids. You always have a way with little kids.
