We did! Bright and early first thing this morning. I got home from walking and told them to put their shoes on.
"Mama, we still have our jammies on!"
I said, "Let's go! It's National Doughtnut Day."
Lamar's was giving away free doughnuts!
I was wondering if they ever even had their full assortment. We enjoyed our free doughnuts as well, but when we went at 10:30, the non-free options were a simple assortment of frosted raised doughnuts. That actually worked in my favor, though, as it kept the girls from begging me for sprinkles instead of glazed :). Happy National Doughnut Day!
We must have just missed you...although next year I am opting for "jammies on" instead of getting dressed-I'll blame that on art class-they would have LOVED going in their jammies! Now, just when is National DQ Blizzard Day? It might just be today...and tomorrow...okay, okay and Sunday too!
