Meeting your fan club

Our Family of Ten together for the first time!  I am always eager for our other children to come and see their newest sibling.  We try to video them coming around the curtain in my room.  It is a treat every time to hear them coming down the hospital hall bursting with excitement and then to hear their voices enter my room.
I had to include this one because of Dominic and how he was staring at his new brother.

Meeting Damaris-17 months

I will always remember Clairvaux. She was so excited, nervous, and filled with childhood wonder.  She was like the small child trying to see over big kids at a concert. She wanted so much to see everything and was trying so hard to understand who this new person was and why was her mother in a bed.  Her pure smile captured how she felt this day.

Meeting Clairvaux-3 years old

 Meeting Vianney-4 years old

Meeting Zellie-6 years old

 Meeting Rose-7 years old

Meeting Lillie-9 years old

Meeting Big Brother Dominic-11 years old

Kapaun has a perfect role model.

  1. Beautiful! I love the family pictures and how each child got a special picture and moment with their little brother.

  2. Congratulations on such a beautiful gift for such a beautiful family. I stumbled upon your blog recently and wanted to tell you how inspiring it has been to me. I myself just had my first son in July (I have two other girls) and they are all under the age of three. Lol. Seeing how close in age your children are has been so encouraging to me. Often, I get hung up on all the negative comments I receive from people in having children so close together. Your blog has been a breath of fresh air! (Not to mention your children are adorable!). Thank you for sharing this. May God continue to bless you and your family!

  3. Those are my favorite moments too, I just love watching the older ones love on and have wonder about the new baby. Dominic's expression of love is priceless on the 2nd picture.

  6. I`m in love with your family! I myself have 3 kids under 5 yo, and I`m always looking for blogs of big families so I can see that things are not THAT difficult when you have a large family. Pardon me for saying this, but sometimes big families look/dress/behave, let`s say, weirdly, but you all, you don`t!! You look absolutely normal!!! What an inspiration for me!

  8. How fun to see your family. Our oldest is a boy and he has 6 little sisters too. I am expecting #8 and it's a girl! My husband says having daughters makes him a better man. I admit I was hoping for a brother for my son but I know Heavenly Father knows exactly who needs to come to our family. I can't wait to meet this amazing little person on April. Keep smiling, He is watching over all of us!
