Baby has been looking very disheveled these days. I dress her adorable in the morning and then her rolls take over and I can tell she is uncomfortable so we usually strip her by the end of the morning. I finally had it. I told John I needed to buy her a few new clothes to accommodate her changing figure.

She wouldn't let anybody dress her so I just gave in and let her wear her skivvies. It is so embarrassing when your underwear hangs out and you don't know it. |

AFTER: Although, I DID find the perfect shirt. |

We pray it fits until September. |

DeleteYay!! Congratulations! Oh, I'm so excited for you. I just found your blog recently and tore my way through your archives, falling completely in love with your beautiful family in the process. Thank you for sharing this window into your life with all of us out here in blog-land.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Layla. Someone just asked me today if it is hard to keep track of all of them???? I told them, "I only have one Rose." She was with me at the time. It is not hard to keep track of my one Rose. They are all so important. God Bless You.
DeleteCongratulations! What exciting news! I discovered your blog last February, 3 days after my last baby was born, and am so grateful for all your mothering wisdom you have shared. Your family is beautiful! As I was reading a post of yours the other day, I was thinking, hmmm, Damaris is 2 months younger than my Andrew, and I found out I was pregnant again 2 months ago (with #4)... I wonder if there will be a new one in their family soon? ;)
ReplyDeleteHi Colleen, What a crazy coincidence that you were just thinking this. CONGRATULATIONS on your newest. So, are you due in July? Andrew is one of my favorite boy names. God Bless.
DeleteEnd of July! I will be praying for a healthy pregnancy and baby for you! I can't wait to hear what the reactions of your other children were when you announced to them. :)
DeleteLove your blog and just wanted to wish you well on your #8. Tonight I am reflecting on how God blesses some people with many children and some with a few and some with none. It is a mystery. May God Bless your family!
ReplyDeleteHI Kathleen. It is such a mystery. One that I will never take lightly as God seems to only have His rhyme and reason to the whole matter and I just want to be obedient and say "Yes" I will take them if you want to give them to us.
DeleteCongratulations! What exciting news!! We will keep you in our prayers.
ReplyDeleteThanks Megan. I always enjoy your little peeps and the cute things they say.
DeleteYay!!! That's awesome! What a beautiful family...what a blessing to know there will soon be a new member!

Congratulations! You are so inspiring to me. We just had our 6th in October. Your post on morning sickness in the last pregnancy literally helped me struggle through the last pregnancy. Do you ever grow weary of being pregnant? I love babies but I do not love pregnancy. It is rough and I don't even have serious complications to complain of. Prayers for you and your growing family!

ReplyDeleteOoooh Lindsay, how awesome! A HUGE congratulations to you and John!! And all the other kiddos too. :) Mom announcing another brother/sister on the way was always pure ecstasy for us. I get emotional thinking about each of your kid's excitement for their new sibling to come. I truly believe the most valuable gift you can give to a child are their siblings. It's been such a joy to watch your family grow from afar, you have my prayers!!
