For the record, Damaris has moved on from being nicknamed Denver to Chancho or sometimes Chancho Villa. We have a choreographed dance and song to go along. It is my favorite so far. She even sings it. Anyway.
She is destructive during all her waking hours. I have said often that it would be fun to actually find her doing something she is supposed to be doing. Seek and destroy. Her very favorite hobby is eating Legos followed by a close second which would be toilet hand dipping. Delicious. She eats Legos like french fries. She loves them. The problem is that our other children love Legos and play with them all the time. Curse.

I find it quite endearing to walk by this room and see someone sitting at the piano playing their little tunes. |
One of my favorite rooms in our new home is the drawing room/piano room/library. They can close the doors and play to their hearts content without being attacked by Chancho. She stands yearning at the door to eat Legos.

Happy camper safe from Chancho. |

Poor Chancho. |
Cutest EVER! Our 1.5 yr old is the same, and we're in the same boat...my poor kids are sent to the basement dungeon with their legos, so every 5 mins I am summoned down there to see their new creations. =)
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday!

I love this! My kids also love Legos and a few who could eat them like french fries too!
ReplyDeleteLOL! " She stands yearning at the door to eat Legos" TOO FUNNY!
ReplyDeleteHaha, I can relate. We have the exact same doors in our house, down to the doorknobs, on our 'music room'.
ReplyDeletemy 1,5 yo loves to stuff stuff into his nostrils. sometimes I wished he ATE stuff instead of pluncking into his nose. It would be easier to come out...
ReplyDeleteHow awesome that you have a "big kid" place now! I think that's so important. We don't have a basement in our house, but we've always managed to craft some sort of playroom for the bigger kids that keeps the LEGO creations safe from toddlers. Cutest picture ever of her with her nose pressed to the door!
ReplyDelete+ Dear Lindsay, I have a Chancho at my house too. I was really beginning to think that it's all my fault for being a terrible parent, so thank you for sharing that someone with as beautiful a heart as yours has one at home too!

DeleteI don't have a Lego-eater in my house but my almost 2 yr old is a banger. She is SO SO SO loud. Everything she does is loud. Speaking, walking, playing, screaming it reverberates throughout the house : )
ReplyDeleteHA HA! This is hysterical. The lovely toddler years. They keep us on our toes don't they? Blessings to you all. Wishing you a very Happy New Year and Merry Christmas. I'm not that late!
ReplyDeleteHaha, we have a different problem in our house. Our 2 year old loves legos. He enjoys playing with them and it drives the older kids batty since when he builds he wants to sit in the middle of the Lego bin!!
