Putting Mech to Bed

My mother is a simple woman. She likes Diet Dr. Pepper, BBQ chips, someone to scratch her head, someone to pluck her beard (?), and she LOVES to be put to bed. We were all home for Christmas and she pulled me aside and said "Will you please put me to bed?" She loves to be tucked in. Well, everyone else saw what I was doing so we all joined in. Of course, she always makes some weirdo comment about this is what it will be like on her death bed.  I want to push her out of bed every time she says that.

Even my sister's boyfriend was in on the action.  Please look at the face on Hilary's dog.  Creeper.

I enclosed this picture also because my mother sleeps with a massive St. Joseph statue at the end of her bed.  Can you see his head looking at John?  It freaks me out every time I walk in.  Everyone always says that there is a man in her room.  She claims he makes her feel safe.
