Why or why did I ever start blogging? I was a pile of tears looking back through pictures of Damaris. Oh, how thankful I am that I was home everyday with her. She woke up sick today on her 2nd birthday. She was throwing up all day. It was so sad. Pictures have an amazing way of moving the heart. As I was searching through my thousands of photos, I couldn't help but say over and over how grateful I was for our time. Time is so very precious. What if I would have missed the exquisite beauty of watching this child grow each day? How much daily happiness she gives our whole family! What if I would have missed that? From a heart bursting with gratitude, I am thankful Lord you opened my eyes to the wonder of each child you decided to give to John and I.
My mother has warned me how much these pictures are going to hurt in the future. I already feel it. I say it again, TIME IS PRECIOUS.

And what a cutie 2 she is! I started following you about a week before she as born. I can't believe it's been 2 years! Happy Birthday Damaris! Hope she feels better today. AS one of our favorite priest's says, " Any special day is celebrated for an octave!" She'll have to have a birthday weekend! ;)
ReplyDeleteThose first 2 years go way way too quickly! Happy Birthday Damaris!
ReplyDeleteShe is so precious! I love all her pictures! Our daughter just turned two in March and in June she'll already be a big sister for the second time. I bet Damaris loves being a big sister :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE HER SO MUCH! I'LL BE HOME SOON CHANCHO!
ReplyDeleteLOVE AUNT MAMMY
RUN--DON'T WALK to the nearest trash can and throw all of those precious pictures away before she graduates from highschool. If you do it now, you wont remember what she looked like--and then you wont be sad!!!! Great Solution,No? SHE IS DELISHIOUSLY GOOD!!!!
ReplyDeleteShe's so adorable! It's a pity they grow up as quickly as they do. It seems like you blink and WHAM! your newborn is suddenly a toddler. If only they could stay small just a little while longer.
